Good location, good food, and great beer. The Elm City Restaurant & Brewery is located in the Colony Mill building in Keene.  A great old brick mill building with loads of personality.

While we like the food here—particularly their Buffalo Wings, which are nice and spicy—we love their fresh-brewed beers on tap. There are usually at least a half-dozen beers and ales available in the pub which are brewed right on the premises. We particularly enjoy the Keene Kolsch

The Barley House is one of our favorite places in Concord. The atmosphere is relaxed and the staff is terrific. We haven’t found anything on the menu that we don’t like and they have excellent drafts on tap. Pull up a stool and stay awhile.

The Peddler’s Daughter has a nice, funky atmosphere, traditional irish pub fare, and a fine selection of beers and ale on tap. If you’re just looking for a quick snack and a draft to wash it down with, try out the deep-fried pickles. …Really tasty.
